"I like women. If they are pretty and have a good figure, I'd rather watch them be murdered than a fat ugly man."-Dario Argento
Posted by Kate Cielinski at September 3, 2004 11:54 AMDr. Arnzen told me to watch for oddly-tiled blog entries from you. Something tells me your inbound traffic from Google is going to increase pretty soon...
Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at September 3, 2004 4:13 PMGreat quote! And this is a fabulous way to launch your blog. But what are your thoughts about it? What does Argento mean?
I remember seeing an interview with Argento, and when he was asked why he loves all these splattery things, he replied "I just want to be loved." I did a spit take when I heard it.
I believe both Hitchcock and Edgar Allan Poe -- both big influences on Argento -- have said similar things about killing women. Might want to see if you can track them down and expose 'em.

You'll laugh.
Have you taken any classes at Pgh Filmmakers?
