Social Class and the Hidden Curriculm of Work

My agenda item is how the Executive Elite School system works. I like how a student's "analytical intellectual powers" are focused on. I like how the school system takes what a student learns and makes them discuss how they came up with the correct answer and how students have more freedoms such as utilizing classroom materials more and don't have to ask permission to use the restroom. The teachers have more trust in the students than other types of schools do. The one thing I dislike about labeling these schools is students from the lower level school are not getting the education that the higher levels schools do which is very unfair.

I don't like how the elite school systems work. I think it is unfair to give another social class of students a better education compared to a group of students who have a lower social status. Each group of students should get the same education--reguarless of their social status. Each student should also be given the same opportunites and taught in seveal different teaching styles in order to see which one they best succeed in.

I would not say that i disagree with the Executive Elite School System, i think it is good way of encouraging and helping students. But, I also think that it should not only help the students in high income classes but also the students in lower income classes too.

Well I kinda agree with you on how it is set up...I like the idea of a school making the students actually THINK and not just repeating what they saw in a book and stuff like that. However what I don't like in general is that this is only for the wealthy...I think all students should get the same education and have the same encouragement no matter where they live...But thats kinda like my agenda item =)

Exactly. I also like the idea of schools pushing their students to think but I also believe that EVERY student should be given that same opportunity.
