Today during the Martin Luther King celebration I felt very moved. I enjoyed the performances of the Seton Hill Theater department. The songs were very informative and it made me realize how much needs to be done about this specific area. Martin Luther King fought for equal rights and we as human beings should keep his dream alive. In groups we were given the task of coming up with ways to keep Dr. King’s dream alive. Our group discussed what we could do in everyday life on the campus. We concluded that we should be courteous to people and to respect everyone. There is not as much of that going on at this campus as there should be and also helping out as much as we can. Giving donations; every little donation helps, volunteering, and respecting others. I feel that this experience has made me realize that it is my duty with the help of others to keep this world as diverse and equal as we can in order to keep the "dream" alive.
