Emily Dickinson's poetry
I never saw a moor
I was drawn to the second part of this poem... it made so much sense to me...
"I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given."
with such a faith in God and Heaven... she is so sure it is there even though she's never seen it. I've never written down that idea before, she says it so much more beautifully than I ever could.
