Dumpsters are gift givers. This is one night's worth of treasures as presented in a pictorial review.
A dumpster that we raided pretty well. Wanted to take a picture of
Moira in the dumpster or at least emerging from it like Oscar the Grouch, but my flash kept acting up.
Books that we found at an undisclosed location. The ones that don't sell at this particular store are thrown out, but first the cover is ripped off them so they can't be re-sold. They should have donated them to kids or some type of literacy program. But then again I don't make the rules in the world. I just point out the messed up ones.
This was all from one local super market. Everything was closed. The bagels had expired that day.
The last four pictures are of the things that Moira found on this same night. I should also note that this was the first dive that
Stormy has come on with us and it was really cool. Above is some more food.
Lemon juice. Karate belt. 3 Apple Pies. Canned goods were also found, but I cannot recall what type of food they were exactly.
Snowboarding boots found at a local 'use it again' type store for sporting goods. Several pairs were in the dumpster, and Moira grabbed a size 8. I also have to note that there was an exercise bike out at this dumpster as well.
This picture pretty much sums up the amount of electronics that we found that day. I am not sure how many of them are working. Moira was going to test out what worked and what didn't. There is an atomic clock, an mp3 player, a rice cooker, halogen light, and 2 wireless mice.
