I have seen a lot of concerts over the course of my life. I calculated last night that I have seen at least 20 bands live. None of them compared to Sheryl Crow, who I had the privilege of seeing last night at Wolf Trap's Filene Center in Vienna, VA. Previously the performer that I thought was outstanding was Mandy Moore. I blogged about that experience back in September 2007. I believe I even said "it was the best concert that I have ever been to in my life and I am not kidding." Well Ms. Moore (or should I say Mrs. Adams) you have been topped! I captured a majority of the concert on my Flip camera. Freakin sweet!

I used to work at the Wolf Trap stage door. In the picture on the page you link to, you can see a little bit of sidewalk leading up to the right side of the building... if memory serves, that's the stage door entrance, where I used to work.
The job description was something like Scooter on the Muppet show -- running errands, showing the stars to their dressing rooms, being there for opera divas to yell at if there was ice in the water and for ballet divas to yell at if there *wasn't* ice in the water, that sort of thing.
The movie Broadcast News was filmed backstage at Wolf Trap a few months before I started working there. One of my first jobs was replacing all the hallway signs that the filmmakers had torn down.
