O' Ethics my Ethics!
"Report and write with humility. This virtue teaches us that Truth - with a capital "T" - is unattainable. But even though you can never get it, with hard work, you can get at it, you can gain on it."
These sentences really spoke to me. Not only is this an important concept in journalism, but this is also a foundation for life. There is always something bigger and better than ourselves out there, but that simply means that we should strive to reach those same lofty heights. There is ever room for improvement. No one, by any means is a pure as freshly fallen snow, except maybe babies, but that's beside the point. Journalists need to be able to recognize unhealthy and bad influences. Stick to the truth, it might not necessarily be safer 100% of the time, but you'll be able to tell yourself that you stuck to your principles throughout it all.

Really good blog. I mentioned you in my blog, and how you said that if we strive for truth, we will be doing our best. The truth is unattainable, but to set our goals for the truth is the best that we can do.
