The last short assignment in How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C Foster was to read a chapter at the end of the book called Envoi.
"My favorite was the apology to the poem itself", this was the most amusing part of the whole book. I have learned a lot from this book. Instead of ending the book with an apology like the authors of poems and books of poems Foster ended this book by addressing his envoi to the reader. This book was enlightening and help me through some of the more complicated assignments that I encountered this semester.
