Frost's "After Apple-Picking"

"Of apple-picking: I am overtired
Of the great harvest I myself desired."

This poem generally has a smooth, lulling flow; this makes sense for a poem wherein Frost is exploring sleep. The colon in the middle of the first line in this couplet, however, gave me a little bit of a jolt. It breaks up the flow of the poem; it startles by suddenly interrupting a pretty consistent rhythym. I think this sudden break in the flow was done to call attention to a central idea of the poem.
