Apparently I really can't handle the morning news....I don't know if this makes me want to cry or scream. I love children, they are honestly my passion in life, how can this go on. How can this happen?! Stupid people should not be able to procreate....if parenting is too much of a responsibility for you, THEN DON'T. There are hundreds of couples out there that are unable to have children and I'm sure headlines such as the one I found eat away them....
I think I've decided to never look at the news again...I blogged a couple of days ago on pretty much this same thing...Click here to read more about the 5 year old boy that brought marijuana into his classroom, or the 4 year old that brought cocaine to preschool thinking it was flour....What type of parents do these children have....how can crap like this go on? It breaks my heart to read stuff such as this...... :(
Posted by MelissaWhiteman at March 24, 2004 10:09 AMI find a lot of irony in this latest blog by melissa....she mentions her older article in which she wrote about how unjust it was to suspend a child for bringing a weapon to school and what the world is coming to...the hypocrisy found here though is that melissa was all for letting that infraction of the rules slide, even though weapons in school are much more dangerous than a little pot...an outcry against parents allowing their children to start dealing at a young age is hypocritical in light of your opinions on parents allowing their kindergarteners to take weapons into class...melissa, it's not yes to axes and no to grass, but either yes to both or no to both...

I really think its bad that this stuff is happening, but don't always blame it on the parents. I mean yeah, maybe they have a problem and they are drug dealers, but does this kid have any brothers or sisters? You can never tell where the kid got it. I do agree thought that its really a crazy world out there. What's next?
