Lets Complain!
OOOO!!!! Yes! Finally, getting to blog about our problems! Or...not? Writing about a problem and complaining are two totally different things, darn I was looking forward to it! Anyway, In writing about a problem Roberts tells us that our major purpose is to convince your reader that your solution is a good one. Well that should be easy, as long as your problem is real, it should come with some sort of a solution. But its not always as easy as it may seem.
The strategies were all very helpful but Roberts' "Writing about a Problem" paragraph was able to sum it all up in just a few sentences. And with the organize your essay part, it tells you exactly how your paper is supposed to go, where and everything, that was very helpful.
The illistrative essay was a good example and easy to understand. And after reading Desert Places it was nice to be able to go back to the essay and compare and find the meaning to what the essay was telling as which made understanding and comprehending it even easier. Being able to relate to a piece we read was great!
