Another Rubino Enters Politics; Succeeds in Pissing Off More Girls
It seems to be a common trend in this humble Rubino house for the men of the family to enter the political spectrum (all in totally different capacities) and just piss off women and liberals... and liberal women. And as of yesterday, my brother Danny (who goes by such disturbing and mysterious aliases as "Dirty Dan," "Vespa Dan," and "Idiot" - I gave him the last one) became the President of his Sophomore class at Quigley Catholic High School. While this is excellent by itself, it's even more impressive that he was able to do so as part of a slate of kids that all sit at his lunch table.

Danny decided to run for class president a good while ago, and running with a slate of his friends, he was determined to beat a slate of soph. girls who opposed him. It didn't help matters that in this slate of girls were his ex-girlfriend and his date to the Christmas dance last December. But Dan wasn't swayed by those sultry temptresses. Instead he focused on his conservative platform (well, if it's even possible to be left or right winged in your high school politics) and he and his posse swept the election. His posse consisted of kids with names like Jason, Marley, Jake, and someone else. How would I know, I'm too "cool" to know his friend's names. (Sarcasm)
Now that he has won the election, however, the slate of femme fatales refuse to talk to Danny. They are pretty pissed off, and Danny is pretty proud. Oh what a Rubino he has become! I remember the first time I pissed off my ex-girlfriend with my Right-Winged beliefs. To know that Danny is doing the same lets me know that I've had some sort of effect on him (although that's not necessarily a good quality to have).
And so, cheers to you Danny. A fine start indeed.
