Comparing Apples to oranges?

Apple has recently announced, among other great things, that they will be releasing the Mac Mini. It's a miraculous piece of hardware that manages to shrink the approximate power of my PowerMac G4 into something the size of a cigar box. It's priced at $499, and is targeting that economy computer buyer who's always wanted a Mac but could never afford one.

An interesting article was posted on Macworld's blog addressing comparisons between low end Dells and the new Mac Mini. "Apples and oranges" by Dan Frakes. A very good read for all interested in technology or buying a new computer.
