The Rest of Season 2

As a point of interest to anyone keeping track, the last four episodes of "Dodge Intrepid and the Pages of Time" season two have been podcast.

I've been working on each episode a week at a time for the past month now, starting right after our live performance of these very episodes. We recorded them a little differently this time. With the help of our good friend Moses, we were able to record them in his sound studio/living room with some of his nice microphones and sound equipment. This, of course, was a welcomed upgrade from the first season, which was recorded with two microphones above a bowling alley. Because of the experiment in the way we recorded these episodes, it took me longer to edit all of the voice tracks. Regardless, I managed to get the podcasts out every Monday, and they sound quite good.

Many of the folks who came to our live performance (which was our biggest crowd yet) told us that this set of episodes has been our best. While I like all of our episodes equally, and for various reasons, this set means alot to me because I was able to use my art education as well. Episodes 206-207 feature "The Futurist", a personification of the short-lived art movement known as Futurism from the early 1900's. Of course, this also allowed us to have a ridiculous Italian stereotype, played by Mike Hinzman (who also does the German and French stereotyped voices in these episodes).

While James and I plug away at the beginning to Season 3 (which is debuting sometime in April), take a chance to listen to our latest work. Each set seems to be pretty self-contained, so it shouldn't take too long before you figure out what's going on (but by all means, go back and listen to our earlier episodes to catch up!)
