Comcast Returns to the Cellar

About a month ago the Cellar Dwellers made their debut on Comcast's local OnDemand Comedy Spotlight. Now, thanks to the great number of hits that it received, we're filming two more episodes!

Friday, December 21st, our weekly FN'Improv show is going to be filmed again; this time it's being split in to two 30-minute episodes. Most game shows are taped in marathon sessions, and this will sort of be in the same fashion. The main difference here is that we aren't going out of our way to accommodate the filming, aside from introducing the show twice. We're doing two hours of improv... so we have a little less than a 50% margin for stinking. We should be fine.

Assuming this week's filming goes well, we may look in to making this a regular thing. Of course, I'll never actually get to see these things at my house (we don't get Comcast), but folks keep telling me that they like it. If you haven't watched the first one yet, you really ought to. It's a laid back, rather jovial show that really exhibits some fine unedited improvisation. I'm also working with our producer/editor Josh to get an uncut DVD together in the coming weeks.

Things have certainly been hectic for me these past few weeks, and this upcoming taping is just part of it all. I am looking forward to seeing where all this leads, though. I'll resist writing some sort of "comcastic" joke.
