A Communist Manifesto for literature.

Eagleton, ''Literature and History'' -- Jerz EL312 (Literary Criticism)

Its aim is to explain the literary work more fully; and this means a sensitive attention to its forms, styles and meanings. But it also means grasping those forms, styles and meanings as the products of a particular history.
communism for the literary world. Right? All the 'types' are looked at equally depending on the 'time pd.' Now I think, I think, that this is 'fair' and keeps the ideas in focus. I feel that this also keeps the integrity of the work throughout the ages. It preserves the ideas cleaner then all the other types of criticism. Maybe I'm biased, I won't use the word best, but it's pretty darn fair/equal. Marx would be pleased.
