Blog Expertise Needed: Domain Questions

So I want to set up a blog on literarytease.com that is as easy to update as the SHU blogs. I have one set up now, but I'm so over ftp-ing daily. Any suggestions? I have a domain, and I have hosting, pretty sure I can do fancy stuff but never bother. I am willing to barter with someone to make this happen.

Do you know Wordpress? That's what I use, and I find it pretty easy and convenient. The only times you'd have to ftp would be when updating Wordpress itself, or when you'd like to change your theme or something like that. But it's never very often. It also has a nice editor that lets you write your posts from your web browser.
