Page 186:
"'Hush, Hester!' said Arthur Dimmesdale, rising from the ground."
Here we see a change in reference to the Reverend. In this scene when the couple discusses leaving town, Hawthorne refers to the Reverend by his first name, implying he is just a regular guy.
