Aesthetic Distance is something that caught my attention. The definitions appears to be simple, but I don't believe it is. There seems to me, to be more than the distance the author uses.
Another aspect of this term is why do authors use it? When do they use it? How do they know when to use it? And what type: author or reader distance?
I hope to do further research at different texts, and the type they use and the reasons that I believe the author uses to determine the type.
