Don't Fear Change, Embrace it!
Well, there have been many changes made in Reeves Memorial Library over the past month. If, when you visit the library and find that things are not where the used to be, ask any of the staff and we can help you out.
Here are some pictures that follow-up those in the previous post and give you some high-lights of the reorganization that we have made.
All of the public PCs at the high tables have been rearranged to be more comfortable for the users.
The current periodicals now occupy the area where the videos, DVDs, and LPs used to be.
The video and DVD collection now occupies the reference area closest to the Holocaust Room.
Our library Aides, Melissa and Kali, exhibit their enthusiasm as they undertake the fun job of reshelving a portion of the reference collection.
Judith Koveleskie and Kelly Addleman pose with the many boxes that are being used to ship periodicals that are no longer needed in our collection.
Additionally, the video/DVD player has been relocated to the Holocaust Room and our LP record collection has been deaccessed.

Oh my, we see you have very hard working library specialists at your disposal. How lucky! We need to find someone to help us pack for our upcoming trip to Lithuania in a few weeks. If you have anyone who can help, please send them our way! Thanks!

I particularly like the arrangement of computers in the entryway. The space seems more open now, and the row of computer stations seems more inviting.

Thanks, Dennis. I was pleased with the way the computer area turned out. Stay tuned for some additional upgrades/changes during the summer.
