A Font Of Good Intentions

As anyone knows who has to manage a budget that includes laser printer toner cartridges or even those who pay the outrageous prices for ink cartridges for their home printers—WOW are they expensive and do they wear out fast!!!! I was pleased to read about an environmentally astute Dutch company that has developed a font that uses less ink. The “Ecofont” is ingenious in that it has small holes in the letters. Less ink, less waste! I installed it on my PC and although I wouldn’t use it for a formal paper (and they don’t suggest that I do) it is not bad for everyday use. Every little bit helps!

Lesson for the Day

If you're going to contest an overdue fine by claiming that you have never checked out a specific book, don't list it on your Facebook page as one of your favorite books.
