Don't Play It Again, Sam.

I came across an interesting article today about the licensing of music for use in public spaces. This one certainly more than verges on the ridiculous, in my opinion, it falls into the deep abyss of ridiculousness! Although this occurred in the UK can it be too long before it crosses the ocean to our hallowed shores? In a nutshell, the mechanic must tell his customers to turn off their radios when they drop off their cars to be worked on because the mechanic does not have a license to play music in a public place.
