Laga is a place that i had the tiime of my life. I haven't been there much, but when i did it was awesome. To turn that place into apartments would probally cost more than what you are loosing now. If this come down to paying more to got to the shows, to keep from lossing money, there are many people that are willing to pay that extra fee. Please try to understand how much it means. Thanks.

Club Laga is an awesome place to go and see shows. I recently attended the Relient K show on November 17th, 2003. I had the time of my life!!! I was looking forward to coming there all the time for other shows but I then heard they were shutting it down. This place is somewhere for people to just escape from everything and just have an awesome time! If you took this building away from us it would upset tons of people everywhere. Just to give the owner of the building more money, a lot of people who love Club Laga will be willing to pay an extra few bucks just to pay for tickets. Please don't take this place away from us. The moments we have had at Club Laga, we will cherish forever. Thanks.

Judging from you gals' posts, it looks like you think I'm closing Laga! :o Actually I'm not, I'm just a heartbroken fan like yourself, hoping that there will be a place to go see great bands in the Burgh.

Apparently, the owner of the club wants to turn it into apartments for the sheer fact that mostly all shows at Laga are all ages, which means not many people are visiting the bar in the back of the club. Most small venues like that thrive on the sales from their bars due to the distribution of the small ticket prices to various people. I hope this helped everyone understand it better although it still sucks! :)
