1. Why are original reports written so loosely that there is room for multiple interpretations? Shouldn't the meaning be direct and clear for accuracy?
2. If journalists are aware that they may be interpreting incorrectly, then why don't they follow-through by interviewing the writer of the statistics, etc.?
