The Melville story was very interesting and at certain parts it was funny. I found that the elderly man warm heart throughout the reading and he became sensitive to Bartleby situation. Well, he actually was sensitive until he couldn't take it anymore.

I also agree with you in a way. I believe that the guy was sensitive until he could not take it anymore. My question is simply why would you allow this man to overtake and run your business and then begin to run your personal life also. It is surely not something that I would let happen. How about you?
