Moving out and going to college is a huge step in anyone’s life. There are a lot of decisions that have to be made, and sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. But once you’ve started your classes, that is when you see the real conflict. All the stress of homework, classes, studying, tests, sports, work, can be tough when you have so much to get done and have little time to do it.

Greensburg’s healthy alternative to fast food11/05/09


Greensburg is a city that offers a variety of restaurants, bars, boutiques, fast food establishments, and unique shops. There is a little something for everyone in the “Burg”. Nature’s Way, located on 796 Highland Avenue, in Greensburg, is an independent grocery store that caters to the likes of health-nuts, vegetarians, and vegans (yes, there is a huge difference).

Touring the United States Holocaust Museum10/15/09


The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. is a permanent exhibition that spans three floors. The museum conjures a narrative history that uses more than 900 artifacts, 70 video monitors, and four theaters that include historic film footage and eyewitness testimonies.

Holocaust education in the 21st century10/15/09


Internationally reknowned scholars and educators will join Seton Hill University (SHU) staff and students to attend the tri-annual Ethel LeFrak Holocaust Education Conference, which has been a huge success in the past, according to Wilda Kaylor, director of the National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education. The three-day conference, which will take place from Sunday, Oct. 25 to Tuesday, Oct. 27, will feature several speeches, a concert and a film presentation and discussion.

Homecoming weekend is awaited anxiously every year by students, faculty, and even parents. Homecoming is the time for everyone to join together, to show their true colors, to show their school spirit and pride for Seton Hill University (SHU), to support the university's teams, as well as its community.

Laboring With Love09/26/09


On Sept. 19, students and faculty members joined together once again for the 15th Annual Labor of Love. This year, approximately 100 volunteers participated in the event, leaving 10-12 individuals for each location.
