Impromptu press conference

I was pleasantnly surprised that Dr. Boyle agreed to drop in on our class.  She was really open to our questions and went out of way to answer everything.  She encouraged comments and feetback and made us at ease, which is something I'm not sure will happen at a real press conference.  I like the way she handled Corey's question about the booing in the cafeteria due to the announcement of the football team.  She has probably heard that question a thousand times before, but handles it with greace.  She was also very receptive to new ideas such as a radio station and went out of way to explain everything such an endeavor would entail.  I can't like, I don't like watching the news, press conferences, or the State of the Union Address.  I could not be this type of journalist because I find it annoying, but can see how someone else finds it exciting.

I was so surprised she showed up! She is such a busy woman, you wouldn't think she would have time to play press conference. I too enjoyed how she answered Cory's question- you could tell she was trying to say it in the most diplomatic way in order to not say something incriminating, and did so very well. I hope I can field questions so well someday (if I'm ever in a situation to be asked a difficult question).
