I am exhausted. I have been traveling since about midnight PST (3 AM EST) and all I want to do is sleep. But still, I thought of some things I wanted to say about my trip that wouldn’t take long, so here’s the short version of California

Metros ridden: 8
Number of bag tags: 12
Souvenirs purchased: 2
Number of blisters and other painful blemishes: 10
Pairs of shoes: 4
Times I talked to my parents: 5
People that spoke to me about my poster: 3
Resumes distributed: 4
Hours of sleep I got between 9 AM Monday and midnight tonight: 1
Number of flu-like symptoms: 5
So that’s why I’m going to sleep right now. I’m beat. Tomorrow, if I can get out of bed, you’ll see California, Part 2: The Basics
