I'm finally seeing the workload college can pile on:

-finish writing for the net homework for tomorrow

-finish thinking and writing essay for thursday

-study for major writers and genres test for thursday

-Paper for major writers and genres for next tuesday

-interview the director and actors from the play

-write article for the setonian online about the play by friday

-setonian meeting tomorrow

-drug and alcohol program thursday

This may not seem like a whole lot of work, but I am stressing out. I wanted to get back to work as well but that just seems like a distant dream. This is a lot of work for a girl who would do homework for her AP classes the night before and still hit honor roll no problem. oy. I'm in for it, aren't I?

So I'm sitting here picking through the SHU blogs and I thought to myself, "man, I don't write about anything interesting."

I'm just so used to having my diary and writing about irrelevent happenings in my life. I always come up with things I want to write about, like how we're not allowed to drive and talk on cell phones anymore, or the whole p2p file sharing mumbo jumbo, but I just never seem to have the time. When I write about something I want it to be good, so I want to spend maybe an hour or so at it....I just don't have a free hour anymore! That's sad. I've been running around all day today. School, took the brother to the orthodontist, took him to pick up his glasses, grocery shopped, got gas. Now I have homework. So, that's what I'm going to do now. That and jam out to the new Greenday album. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING....damn, it's good. Well worth the $12 (I love sales)!

Yes, they certainly do piss me off. I logged onto my diary this evening, only to find that all my recent entries were missing. Nothing after the 8th of June was being displayed...it simply wasn't there. Great, I love that. So I log in, and I'm directed to a page displaying a link to a message from the diarymaster. Apparently OD was attacked by hackers on 9/11 and they wiped out all the recent databases. Isn't that just a peach? Why are people so stupid? I mean we all put time, emotion, and effort into posting these entries...and they took that away from us. Those diaries mean a lot to each and every writer. People need to grow up and get lives. Honestly. Well, I just wanted to display my anger and resentment towards these idiots. Goodnight!

Okay, so I fixed the links on the side but now you can't see my title, date, or comment links...hooray, I love that. I'll get the hang of it eventually. I'm lovin' the whole SHU blog thing because it's so much more interactive than the people on my diary. I have comments for both of my posts already and on my OD I'm lucky if my favorites get around to reading my diary once a week.

Anyways...I saw Jersey Girl last night, watched it at a friends. Let me just say it's one of the most adorable and heartfelt movies I've seen in a long while. It left a really strong impression on me, so I figured I'd write about it. It's just so realisitc, it really doesn't seem like you're watching a movie at all....more like a documentary of somebody's life. It's touching, and hilarious, and definitely a chick flick but I'd recommend it to anybody.

With that said, I'm going back to fixing these colors yet again and relishing in the ridiculousness of reality shows. How was that for alliteration? Oh yeah, I'm a nerd.

Well, I still haven't quite mastered this type of blog. I've been sitting here for two hours trying to change certain colors but everytime I check the site to see the changes, they aren't there. I'm wondering if I need to give it some time. I know there is some text you can't see because the colors are all wrong...I'm trying to fix it! Be patient with me! I'm just glad that it's Friday and sunny.

But enough of my blabber, I have a question. CALLING ALL STUDENTS LIVING IN THE NEW DORMS!!
