Train and the boy the true miracle

This story just shows how horribly people of color were treated by the world in the past. Here were these four soliders that were truly out of thier leauge in this village in the hills against the Germans yet the White southern captian took it upon himself to treat them badly. The only true joyful experience out of the story was Train the big mountain of a man and this child that he nursed back to health. The child he gave his life for, that in the end was able to give Hector a chance at peace all because of the kindness Train had shown him in the past. If they child was truly a protected spirt we will never know, but he learned form Train it isn't the color of your skin that matters, It is the willingness you have to help another soul not wanting any reward in return but love and kindness. This is a lesson that we can all use in this day and age.
