Wait! What, Uncle Tom Dies?

I'm in shock! I can't believe Uncle Tom dies and then this leads me to further shock when I realize that I've never read Uncle Tom's Cabin. What I did find humorous though is the similarities between Cute and Marks and the king and the duke in Huckleberry Finn. Did anybody else notice this?
