Did you ever go around all day speaking (and thinking) in a British accent? Then get all your friends to join in? (No, I haven't finally snapped under the boredome. It's jolly good fun. Really.)
Posted by VanessaKolberg at January 11, 2005 06:39 PMWhen I worked at the Renaissance Festival, I was forced to talk with an accent. Aside from then, I never really went around voluntarily speaking like that. Probably best I don't start, either (my fake accent is BAD). ;-)
Posted by: Valerie Masciarelli at January 13, 2005 10:49 AMBoth of my parents have accents - my mom's is British, my dad's is Scottish. So I have inherited the ability to fake the accents quite well. Once I replaced my mom's message on the answering machine with one of me impersonating her. It took her a week or so to figure it out. I'm going to England over the summer and I'm hoping I'll have an accent when I come back. :c)
