Did You Ever...?

Did you ever get really excited when you hear a good song on the radio even though you have the cd? The cd that can easily be put in your cd player at any time, yet you still get all excited to hear it on the radio? And turn it up real loud and sing as if you'll never hear it ever again? I do.

(This is my first non-academic related article in a while. And I waste it on a "Did You Ever...?". Sad)

I don't usually listen to the radio, but I do get excited to hear one of the songs from my "favorites" collection start up on the radio while riding with my family (they all love country, which I despise, so I seldom get to listen to what I like).

I do it all the time. Whenever sympathy for the devil comes on the radio I giggle like a little school girl even though the CD is sitting right beside me. happens for a few other songs too, all of which I have at my disposal. Its such a happy experiance because the radio plays songs at random, when you put your cd in you know what songs are coming. On the radio you just hope something you like is on.

It is a happy experience! Although I don't "giggle like a little school girl". And the fact that you do is a little upsetting...

I do the same with repeated songs. Over the course of one morning, I heard the same song at least three times. Yet each time it came on (it altered between videos and radio. No, the stations I listen to aren't that bad) I got excited, although I had just heard it five minutes ago. Then again, I'm the girl who can listen to "Cold" over and over and over and not even notice.

Hmm, you mean the band, Cold? Hehe, if so, I never would have thought you were the type.

There's a band called Cold? I'm talking about the song "Cold" by Crossfade. I have it on MP3 and will just put it on and play it over and over without ever really noticing. Although, my music tastes are certainly, um, unique. Right now I'm listening to "Holiday" by GreenDay but might listen to Josh Groban in the car. haha.

(What's a typical Cold listener like? Why am I "not the type"?)

I dunno, I think you could easily be a cold fan. They're a bit soft for my taste, but you might like them. They're kind of like tool, maybe a little softer. Their lyrics are definately weaker. Rock is dead now anyway.
