Respond before class

Fitzgerald, "The Ice Palace"

This is the second story in the F. Scott Fitzgerald collection Flappers and Philosophers.

“Respond” means log in to your blog, and click the “Blog Me” button to get a pop up window with a sample prompt. Personalize what you see, and click “Publish.”  Your blog will now have a new entry, with a link pointing back to the course page.

In class Thursday, the blogs were working perfectly — the course blog responded with a link pointing from this blog, back to your blog.  (I hope that two-way link will keep working, because it will make it much easier for future assignments, when I ask you to read and comment on what your classmates wrote about.)

I did post a blog about “The Ice Palace,” but it isn’t showing up on here. Should I just post the link?

How do i do the trackback thing

    • Neil, after you log in you should see a green “Blog Me” button. Just click it. After you’ve made your post, you should see a link from the course page to the blog you just created. Looks like maybe it is working 80% of the time. If you don’t see the link, just paste the URL of your post into a comment on the course web page.
