I was wondering does anyone understand what the whole Juno thing was about, all the sudden she appears out of nowhere, was that the father sending her to make sure his daughter was kept pure, I don’t know, it boggles my mind.
I saw this text and it did not have someone saying it , so because I was curious what it was all about it said: Here on this grass plot, in this very place. To come and sport her peacocks(birds sacred to Juno they draw her chariot) Fly at full speed. Approach rich Ceres her to entertain.
Okay so this seems to be about Juno, but why, why the random quote not from anyone, I wonder how it is done in the actual play?
I thought Prospero conjured Juno and the other spirits to impress Ferdinand and Miranda, because he tells Ariel “Bestow upon the eyes of this / young couple/ Some vanity of mine art; it is my / promise, / And they except it from me” (Act IV)

I think it goes back to Shakespeare being such a big fan of incorporating the Greek and Roman gods (I believe Dr. Jerz called them “the superheroes of Elizabethan times”)… And signifies how Prospero didn’t want the emphasis to be on the lover’s personal life, but on the show and ceremony. he’s trying to keep her innocence,
