Various Types of Readers

Everyone has their method of madness in life. Some may call us weird for leaving the pillow on the floor to remember to do our homework or clean our rooms, but it works.

This article has gone into many details that print readers have to re-read twice because of the habit of speed reading on the internet. I will not deny that I too adjust from taking my time to reading three chapters in one sitting and return the next morning to remember more details.

The Name of Rose certainly has reminded me that slow and steady will win the race for a next project or two but for some readers speed reading is just a way to go.

An instance that this horrible habit is actually good is when you’re trying to find a quote from an essay or article for a research project. You don’t have enough time to read the whole thing because you still got a video to conduct, other resources to look into, and different final projects that also need divine attention. I can’t describe what I was like when I was younger, I read 3-4 books per week before I checked out new ones.

All I can say is, everyone has their own pace and method. If people liked to read on the screen or on the print I say go for it.

There is no right and wrong answer when it comes to reading.
