Fall has arrived!
Well folks. October is here and so are the massive amounts of cold weather. I know that it is only going to get worse, but come on. It's only October and the forcasters are calling for snow on Thursday. How crazy is that? The cold weather is already causing problems. From people getting sick, to people twisting ankles on the side walks from all the mud that is there. There is one bonus though to all the cold weather. The trees will be changing colors soon. My family has a camp near Dubois and I love to go there in the fall and just look at all the trees that surround our trailer. It's georgeous and not to mention peaceful. I'm looking for the same results to happen here. What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to the fall or do you wish it was still summer?

I was going to ask, 'What's Kinzua Bridge?' but then instead I went to Google.

Interesting story.
Rosemary... We live just on the outer edge of the Greensburg suburban sprawl. Today there was a a big pile of leaves and misc stuff smoking on the next street over. It smelled like fall.
I agree, Jess. No Kinzua Bridge, no fall...what's the point of leaves if there's no decent place to stand and look at them from?
Now that the Kinzua Bridge has gone away, there's no need for fall. Now it's just this sad sad time between when we can stand to live in Pennsylvania and when we can't.
Honestly, I just wish it was still summer! Cold weather just is not my thing at all. I love the fall leaves and the fall look but the cold is just rediculous. Also with me being a baseball player we cant play in the winter or fall to often. Although if it would just be warm again we could be outside and playing like we love to do. Im still looking forwad to some of the fall but I just want it to be warm again!
I love Fall! Who else remembers and enjoys the smell of burning leaves? It is probably illegal to burn leaves now in most places but from time to time as I am driving along I will smell a faint whiff of burning leaves and be transported back to my younger carefree days. Aaah! As a further aside, I smelled burning leaves in Germany and Austria and is was different - I didn't have the same nostalgic reaction probably due to the different types of trees/leaves the have over there.
