I enjoyed the DNA panel. Dr. Jerz was in great form. The panelists managed to talk about everything from abortion to cloning to privacy issues to the role of god in all this. Somehow, it felt coherent, even if it was all over the map, because the ethical core held it all together. They even mentioned the entropic heat death of the universe (as an example of when everything and everyone will be equal)!
The panel is actually tomorrow at 6, but I have already blogged my first responses to the questions I was given. I'd welcome your reactions.

I wasn't able to attend could you please blog some of the highlights I am really interested. I had class. :(
I've put the debate questions and my preliminary answers to them on my weblog. I'd welcome feedback. Click on my name to jump to the right page.
I'm interested. What are some of the topics in the broad realm of DNA & Ethics that you will be discussing? I am very interested in genetics for some personal reasons, in addition to the fact that before stumbling upon my desire to become an English and French teacher, my passion was to become a genetic engineer--obviously not my chosen path (since I'm not at CMU or Pitt or some other acclaimed medical university...).
