E-mail Links
In "Writing for the Internet," Amanda asked how to create an e-mail link. While this won't work on every computer (the computer on the other end has to be configured properly to load an e-mail program automatically), here's all you do. Select the text you want to turn into the link, and then for the URL, instead of typing "http://www.whatever.com" you would type "mailto:whoever@whatever.com". Example: whoever@whatever.com.
It's a simple as that! (More below...)
While some people will make their names into e-mail links, I think it's better to make a person's name into a link to a bio or "about me" page -- since often I don't necessarily want to e-mail the author, I just want to know more about them. So if you do use a "mailto" link, type your e-mail address and then turn it into a link.
Note: spammers search the Internet for strings that look like e-mail addresses, so if you put your e-mail online, you might start getting more spam. If you want to use a mailto link, but you also want to hide from spammers, try the Enkoder.

Here you go. That list of links is called the "blogroll" (since it usually contains links to other weblogs, though of course the links could go to anywhere on the Internet). http://blogs.setonhill.edu/nmj/000261.html
YaY! Can I ask a question, too?? (I just did, huh? hehe :) well, I'll ask another one)
How would one go about adding links to her blog page under "Links"? I've scoured the Moveable Type page, and the user manual without avail... I also wouldn't mind any tips on changing colors--I'm tired of the ones that are standard.
*waves little white flag* Help?
I didn't know that worked on blogs too. Cool.
