Birth | School | Work | Death is an online poetry anthology by students in my Poetry Writing course this semester. It's still under construction, but most of it is done. Check it out!

Nice work, everyone :) I enjoyed reading through all the poems. My favorite ones happened to come from the Work section. I'd have to say the most amusing one was Sarah Rosenberg's one about retail stores ;)

I write a whole lot of poetry as an outlet for myself. No one gets to read it, but I have dozens of filled notebooks scattered about my bedroom. Maybe someday I'll share. *shrug*

I just recently emailed my two poems to Dr. Arnzen. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with me or not but all my poems seem to focus on death two. Myabe ut's just me. But anyway I read some of the poems in class and on the poetry site and I liked a lot them. Good job to everyone in Writing of Poetry. All Hail Critiquing!!!

My goodness, the "birth" poems are nearly as depressing as the "death" ones! Whatever happend to poems about nice things like bunnies and rainbows? :) Seriously, I enjoyed reading these, and seeing another side of my students and advisees. If anyone's interested, a couple of years ago I wrote a few simple handouts on poetry.. http://jerz.setonhill.edu/writing/creative/Poetry/
