Who else is psyched about all the snow that fell last night? I know that it is really dangerous and all that stuff, but it's really beautiful too. I mean come on. Snow Angels, Snowmen, Snowball fights, Forts made of snow. We all have done one thing or another with snow. Plus, this is the first big snow of the season. It has been forever since we have had snow this early in December that actually stuck to the ground. Maybe we will actually have a White Christmas this year! One can hope! Oh well! Hey I would love to hear stories about how everyone is enjoying this snow or stories of childhood snowball fights and the like. Have fun out there and Be Safe!

I fear I will have to blog on this topic :-D
Yes Karissa, Please tell!

OK, Karissa. Tell!
I LOVE the snow, and I can't help but love the cold along with it. It's not just beautiful and all that normal poetic stuff people say (which I have a habit of saying myself...) but it's so scientific that all the snowflakes are different.
I have some great snow stories. Just ask, and I'll tell... maybe I feel another post coming on.
Awe. I'm sorry to hear that Dr. Jerz. I have stories along those lines, like getting buried under our fallen fort when my brother and I were 9 and 1o respectfully, but living in Pennsylvania the good stories out weigh the bad.

I've never really had fond memories of the snow. Now that the snow is all melted (for now, anyway), I can share this memory. When I was about seven, my dad took my older siblings and me to Hannah's Hill, a steeply sloping field in the middle of burgeoning suburbia. Since the three of us couldn't agree on who would slide down first, we all three went on. As the smallest, I was in the back, and I fell off halfway down the hill and slid down on my stomach. When it was my turn to go down alone, my sled and I fell into a creek. My brother heroically ran towards me, stepped over me, and picked the sled up out of the creek.
I love the snow...I've been staying up till 4am sledding for the past three nights!!
