Time will heal
If only time could stand still. Life would be worth so much more. These are just random thoughts that I have been experiencing in the past couple of hours. Due to stress with reading and getting my work done, these questions pry at my brain.
I have a couple assignments for a seminar in thinking and writing and about three to do for this American Lit. class, which I have been doing, but it seems like it is taking forever. If only time would slow down and be on my side right now, life would be much less stressful.
I'm sure everyone has heard the phrase that "time will heal your pain." Life has many ways of challenging us, and I think that time is the biggest challenge of them all. There is always a limit, or a deadline to reach, which always relates back to time. We live our lives through deadlines and limitations, so we need time to carry us through.

You know I do wish time would stand still or slow down sometimes, but whenever I wish for that I end seeing time speed up. Then when I want time to go faster it slows down to a snails crawl. There must be some kind of force out there that knows what I'm thinking and does the complete opposite of what I want. (sigh)
On the plus side I see time has begun to slowly speed towards my graduation day, a day that I look forward to saying goodbye to homework and tests for good (I hope) ;)
I've often wished that there were a secret magical day of the week when the rest of the world would stop for a day, and we could sleep, or read, or do laundry, or whatever, without any pressure from the outside world.
I've been told that in some cultures, two such days actually exist, and that they are called "weekends," but I have never known them to be any less hectic than weekdays.
