Diversifying Ourselves

Who ever said, "You are what you eat?" well does that mean that if you eat a brocolli, you'll have a canopy/afro of green hair...

Not really, it most likely meant that eating healthy food would tantamount to being a healthy person. Well what if we were to eat Chinese food, or Azerbaijan 'Duma', or Fried sweetened bananas of the Virgin Islands? Would this mean we would become an amalgam of these cultures? Of course not, but what a good way to experience other people's culture.
Seton Hill University's International Student's Organization (ISO) is hosting its biannual International Food Festival next Friday, March 19 at Lowe Dining Hall (tentative time 6pm, you could use your flex or just use your meal plan). Twenty countries from around the world would be presented here including Japan, Ghana, Ireland and the Philippines just to name a few.
Just imagine experiencing the world through palatable delicacies. You know what food connoisseurs said, "A way to a person's heart is through his or her stomach." Wouldn't this be a peachy world if we were to just appreciate our differences. Why not start with diversifying our diet and tasting other dishes we wouldn't normally try like sushi or escargot?

That sounds like a great event... my son's a picky eater, but my daughter will try anything. Hmm... I wonder if I can swing it...
