For that special blogger in your life...

Imagine my surprise when, in front of the audience at the "Conference on College Composition and Communication," when I showed them the NMJ weblog on the big projection screen at the front of the room, and saw that war had broken out.

I pitched some of my prepared talk (a part that was full of "telling") in order to show the audience what blogging is like at SHU.

No need to apologize -- it actually supported my argument, that writing teachers who turn blogging into an assignment (with X posts per week of X words in length) kill blogging. The most active stuff on this site is stuff that I haven't assigned.

BTW, those of you who are procrastinating on forced blogging assignments, I'm not letting you off the hook! :)

I am defintely going to buy one of these shirts when I get the extra money. I believe that this blogging trend is extremely becoming more popular and I want to show that I am "blog-spirited!"
