5 Questions For A Blogger

| | Comments (6)

When I was surfing the net today, I came across this unique blogging website, Blog News for Bloggers. I always like to read what others like to post, even though this website seems like it is not updated frequently.

On to the good part...

An entry that was posted on May 21st caught my attention.

Every Friday the FridayFive group from Live Journal posts different questions on their blogs, then tries to tally the numbers.

This is my favorite questionare that they have posted so far...

May 21, 2004 [Survey Questions] - admin - friday@fridayfive.net @ 10:41:49

1. What candy is sitting on your desk (or closest to you) right now?

2. What was your favorite candy as a child, and why?

3. What is your least favorite type of candy?

4. Name a candy that brings up a vivid memory and describe the memory.

5. If you *were* a piece of candy, what candy would you be, and why?

I love answering questions like this...

1. An old E.T. stick of bubbkle gum that includes a sticker and 10 cards which was copyrighted in 1982 (its vintage).

2. Those UFO looking wafers with the rainbow sprinkles in the inside of them (if you are Catholic, it reminds me of our communion that we eat).

3. I am not a big fan of dark chocolate, I know its a lot healthier, but its too rich for me.

4. I always think of the homemade candy that is hard and can shatter. Its rainbow and each piece is a different flavor... I think of Christmas time.

5. I would defintely not be a piece of gum (since you are chewed on about 1000 times)... but I would be a Fireball.... come on, I am a firefighter!

1. M&Ms--the multicultural candy (see STW final project, haha).
2. Reeses peanut butter cups. Mmm, who can resist the chocolately goodness ensconcing the ever-tasty peanut butter?!
3. I guess I don't know because I don't eat it, do I? I'll have to say SweetTarts.
4. Smarties. My best friend from grade school and I tried mixing them with water like AlkaSeltzer. It doesn't work, and it tastes awful--don't try it ;^)
5. Almond Joy. "Sometimes you feel like a nut... Sometimes you don't..." :^D

1. Does Orbitz gum count?
2. Yellow starburst
3. Anything black licorice.
4. Air Heads were always the hot commodity at 4-H Camp and I remember all the campers getting sugar highs off of them, because they could buy 10 per day.
5. Everlasting Gobstopper

1. Smarties
2. Fun Dip. Clearly because it's fun.
3. Anything with toffee in it. Yuck.
4. The Fun Dips again... we used to stand outside the theater of our dance recital and buy them from the concession stand. Nothing like a blue tongue to match your blue tutu.
5. A red hot dollar.

1. Tums.
2. Chocolate chips. (Still.)
3. Bit O Honey. Yech.
4. Necco wafers that my Dad would bring home from the office. Pulling out the white ones in order to play Mass. Getting into fights in the process. (Oh, the irony.)
5. In honor of this summer's stay-at-home fatherhood, "Sugar Daddy."
