TranscendingMadness is back! And we're looking for new members. If you like writing, reporting, or editing, we could use you.
What is TranscendingMadness?
TranscendingMadness is a monthly e-newsletter covering the area lit/art scene and related events. Each column written for TranscendingMadness is also posted on our blog and webpage. Currently, this newsletter is free to the general public.
Why should I join?
This would be a great opportunity for people of all majors to improve their writing skills. TranscendingMadness will offer a community of artists and writers passionate about what they do. Marketing majors are especially welcome to help manage this group as a company.
What are the qualifications?
All majors are welcome. Prior knowledge about internet culture and web writing is prefered. You must be able to attend one meeting per month and keep in contact via e-mail.
How do I join?
We will be holding a meeting on Friday, April 8. Please leave us an e-mail if you cannot attend.
Just a note to anyone interested in being a Transcending Madness staff member, please email your availability to transcendingmadness@yahoo.com by April 15th (That's Friday!)
I figured we could all meet at the lab and walk down to the cafeteria. Don't worry, I won't let anyone starve! ;') If anyone needs me to cover lunch, I have tons of flex money that I don't use. Sorry for the confusion, Moira.
Hey Evan.. I thought we were doing the meeting in the cafeteria tomorrow? I invited a friend and that's what I told him... did that change?
Thanks for the interest. The meeting will be held in 405 Admin. (The old Writing for the Internet classroom) at 1:00pm. I'm wondering if this will count as an entrepreneurial project for the Liberal Arts Core. We can discuss this in further detail tomorrow. If anyone wants to come but can't be there, please email me at e_reynold@yahoo.com.
I was just wondering at what time the meeting will take place... I've been looking for a way to get some exposure to writing news articles, and this sounds like a great opportunity.
