the day my country cried
The shadow of death was upon us, our Country
was attack by cowardly terrorist.
When the "Capital Of The World" was taken by
surprise. When most of our brothers and
sisters where on there way to work, smoke and
thunder covered the city.
Heartless crimal minds killed our people for
no reason at all.
Dont think will go quite into the night and
hide, for we will find you and bring whos
responsible for justice, may God forgive you
and have mercy on your soul, myself as an
American cant...
Today is a brand new day and together, will
help one another, soon our flag will fly high
and our Nation will recover, then We the
people, We the Country with honor will
reclaim "Our Independence Day".

Once every hundred years an Author will arrive, we have seen Illeana Villafana's
work, a Cuban American that have dare to make her dreams come to reality, with her Poetry and Magical Vignettes, I have read her book Come Share My Dreams, especially The Day My Country Cry
That is all over the internet and famous magazines. I can really say Illeana will go far
All of her work, its Grand... However, you are right The Day My Country Cry it has to be her signature Poem.
Illeana Villafana, a great Author
After reading this book cover to cover twice, I am left with this sense of satsifaction. This book touched on every aspect of life. It made me think, but it also made me cry, laugh, and reminisce. Illeana did a great job on this is book. I look foward to reading her second book. I would HIGHLY recomend this book to anyone who enjoys life and wants to share in Illeana's passion. Yes it is true one of my favorite is the dedication she does on the 9-11 events, with the Day My Country Cry, Our Lady of Freedom, and Rise My Country Rise, and she will share her work with anyone!
