I am a senior this year and i remember the book our freshman class was given over the summer to read. It was about Erik Weihenmayer and his book is titled "Touch the Top of the World". He is a blind man who climbed Mt. Everest. I am glad the school made us read that book. It was a very touching story and it helped us freshman students see that we can achieve anything. It was also nice when we came together as a class to discuss the novel. It really was a good experience.
