Editorials is for GOP Politics
When I read the editorials for this paper I've notice that all they talked about was politics mostly. Either local or national it's mostly politics. I find that funny, because in the last class we were talking about the "watchdog function" and how journalist when they repot on the government they seem to watch it. But since they're editorials, they lean on on e party. And the party I see that get the most attention is Republicans. If you were an editor, wouldn't you have some liberal editorials just so the entire paper would be bias?

The Tribune-Review is indeed known for taking a conservative stand in its editorials. But ideally, that editorial stance shouldn't affect the news gathering and reporting that goes on in the other sections of the paper.
A healthy op-ed page, if it is to serve its function as a community forum, should include a range of community responses. Do you see evidence of liberal opinions as well as conservative ones? (I haven't picked up a copy of today's paper yet.)
If you want to balance it out, I'd suggest picking up a copy of the Trib and a copy of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The Trib's conservative and the Post-Gazette's liberal, so that solves the "bias" problem. (The Trib's not the only one with "bias" issues - The Post-Gazette's notoriously liberal.)
