Murtha at Seton Hill University
Murtha cheered, jeered - Pittsburgh Tribune-ReviewThe catcalls prompted shouts from other audience members that Murtha should be allowed to speak. The back-and-forth was clearly audible inside the Katherine Mabis McKenna Center on the Greensburg campus. The small, liberal arts Catholic university is in the heart of Murtha's 12th Congressional District, which he has represented since 1974.
But didn't Pres. Boyle say during her opening remarks that the 12th District was redrawn to exclude Seton Hill from it?
According to the info on the House of Representatives website, SHU is in the 18th District.
The 12th District map is very convoluted, and oddly enough SHU is actually near the center of it. But it's a hollow center.

Mike is correct. Our district was redrawn and is no longer located in Murtha's territory. Congressman Murphy is the Rep for SHU and the 18th district.
It's true... as far as I know, we are located in Tim Murphy's district, not Murtha.
